Southern Africa Telecentre Network is working hard to improve information sharing and exchange among various practitioners in the ICT for Development sector. The SATNET website has various features that can be utilized, and coupled with other platforms helps to bring effective knowledge sharing to life. Currently, the website has a 'share' feature that allows website visitors to share website content with their networks through various social networks such as twitter, facebook, linkedin, reddit, blogger, as well as through email. The website also has RSS feed, enabling website visitors to subscribe RSS feeds for the latest updates on blogs and news as well as other website updates.
The SATNET Repository is one such a platform that enables SATNET and its members to share various information resources by uploading or downloading content from this portal. The SATNET Repository has now been integrated into the SATNET Website. This simply means that the SATNET Repository can be accessed right from the within the website. It has been placed as a menu . It's a single click and the user will have access to the repository, with its full features.

Easy Access to Market Information through M-Farm

Born out of the IPO48, a 48 hour tech bootcamp, a great tech-business idea M-Farm has found its way up the rudder, impacting positively on the economic well-being of Kenyan farmers, by providing them with a transparency tool to get real time crop prices and sell them. Farmers are plagued with problems affecting their productivity and livelihood, middlemen only offering meager prices for their produce, cereal boards delaying with payments, and expensive farm inputs. Many more people cannot get into agriculture, and just about 20% people were in the agriculture sector by 2011 when M-Farm started. M-Farm offers smallholder farmers with three services : price information, collective crop selling, and collective input buying.
