SATNET Repository

Southern Africa Telecentre Network is working hard to improve information sharing and exchange among various practitioners in the ICT for Development sector. The SATNET website has various features that can be utilized, and coupled with other platforms helps to bring effective knowledge sharing to life. Currently, the website has a 'share'  feature that allows website visitors to share website content with their networks through various social networks such as twitter, facebook, linkedin, reddit, blogger, as well as through email. The website also has RSS feed, enabling website visitors to subscribe RSS feeds for the latest updates on blogs and news as well as other website updates.
The SATNET Repository is one such a platform that enables SATNET and its members to share various information resources by uploading or downloading content from this portal. The SATNET Repository has now been integrated into the SATNET Website. This simply means that the SATNET Repository can be accessed right from the within the website. It has been placed as a menu . It's a single click and the user will have access to the repository, with its full features.

NARUDI NYUMBANI, BUT I AM ON A MISSION It's 2013, I receive news about the 6th Africa Agriculture Science Week set to take place in Accra, Ghana. I really want to attend this event to learn and network. I submit my case study: " Improving access and application of information and knowledge for agriculture by transforming telecentres into agricultural knowledge hubs ," to be presented under the information and knowledge for food security in Africa, side event. My cases study is accepted and I get full sponsorship to attend and present at the one week conference. At the same time, I get support as a youth participant. I am so excited.
